Young people
There are so many different jobs and careers out there that it can be difficult to know what you want to do when you leave school or college. You may have a clear idea of what you would like to do, but don’t feel that you have the skills and confidence required for making that step from education into the workplace.
We are here to help.
Working with your school and local employers, Inverness & Central Highland DYW aims to provide you with career information and an opportunity to develop the skills you need to be successful in your chosen career.
For example
- The opportunity to learn and develop your skills for work
- Confidence with CVs, interviews and experience in the workplace
- Informing and inspiring your career choices
- Developing and achieving recognised qualifications
- Providing information to help you find a job and a career
To find out more about how DYW supports young people have a look at our Case Studies page.
The Young Person’s Guarantee is a commitment to bring together employers, partners and young people. It aims to connect every 16 to 24 year old in Scotland to an opportunity. This could be a job, apprenticeship, further or higher education, training programme or volunteering.
